2018 Customer Appreciation Event

On August 30, 2018, Northern Dock Systems celebrated their tenth annual Customer Appreciation Event at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Georgetown, Ontario.

Filled with current and potential customers – a full day was dedicated to educate and demonstrate industry-leading products that increase safety, productivity and reduce energy.

History of this event

Started in 2008, this annual event has quickly become Ontario’s largest industrial outdoor product showcase hosting product demonstrations for over 1,500 customers in the last ten years.

“This event has allowed us to give customers a first hand look at current and upcoming products that will improve their facility. This day provides product knowledge direct from the manufacturers and our internal teams,” states Chris Brady, Vice President.

This year’s event highlighted products from Nordock, Door Engineering, Enershield, SDI, ASI, Assa Abloy, DL Manufacturing, and more.

“Our customer base who attends get to see real product working to help them see the safety and productivity benefits” adds Kirby Moore, President. “In most cases they learn about new ways to improve their facility, and new ways to reduce operating costs.”

Giving back to charity

Continuing the annual tradition of the event, attendees participated in a round of golf and helped raise Northern Dock Systems raise a total of $2,952.50 for the President’s Choice Children Charity.

Through a 50/50 draw and competitive putting challendge, attendees showed their support and in turn will now provide almost 1,500 meals to children in need.

Looking towards the future

With the first ten years passed, Northern Dock Systems is continuing their goal in enhancing the customer experience with new ways to learn about products. From interactive one on one sessions at the Mississauga head office, demo trailer visits at the customer sites, online Skype meetings or trips to the manufacturer, we have a way to give anyone a first hand look at the products that will improve their workplace.
