Canadians take their beer pretty seriously, and so does Northern Dock Systems. After installing Big Ass Fans, The Beer Store has seen a 19% reduction in gas usage.

DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS OF PROJECT:

Big Ass Fans

The Beer Store's Distribution Centres range from 125,000 - 150,000 sq. ft buildings that were experiencing chilly working conditions for the employees working at floor level.
Hot air was rising - creating an extreme temperature difference from floor to ceiling.
Northern Dock Systems Installed 12 Power foil X Fans at 6 facilities across Ontario to circulate the heat down to occupant level and create even temperatures within the facility.
Received a rebate of $750-$1000 per fan from Union Gas & Enbridge Gas.
The Toronto Distribution Centre experienced a 19% reduction in gas usage within the first year of the fans being installed.
