BOMBARDIER AEROSPACE

Bombardier Aerospace - one of the largest global manufacturers of commercial airplanes - recently partnered with Northern Dock Systems to have Big Ass Fans installed at their manufacturing facility in Toronto. They are already seeing some Big Ass Savings.

DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS OF PROJECT:

Bombardier was experiencing a 30 degree difference in temperature from the floor to the roof deck. An automated heating system and small ceiling fans proved unsuccessful at pushing the warm air down to ground level.
Northern Dock Systems installed 5 Powerfoil X Fans
Following the installation - Bombardier was able to keep a much more consistent temperature from the floor to the ceiling. This resulted in their thermostat cycling less frequently & ensured employee comfort 365 days a year.
Recieved a one-time rebate from Enbridge Gas of $3600.
Will save an estimated $11,500 annually in natural gas consumption.
Currently in the initial stages of installing 3 more Big Ass Fans at the Toronto manufacturing facility.
