Purolator - the largest Canadian owned Courier service - is using Big Ass Fans to save energy at 5 of their Shipping Centres in Canada. Plans are currently in the works for more Purolator Shipping Centres to jump on-board across Canada.

Big Ass Fans

Purolator Shipping Centres were experiencing a problem: heat was being lost through the walls and roof, increasing the amount of energy needed to hear the facility and leaving employees chilly.
Purolator needed an energy efficient way to circulate heat down to occupant level in order to increase comfort and decrease energy consumption.
Northern Dock Systems installed 12 Powerfoil X Ceiling Fans at 5 facilities across Canada.
The Powerfoil X Plus Fans push the hot air that is trapped in the ceiling back down to the floor level - where it is useful. Saving on costly energy bills and increasing employee comfort.
