The Energy-Efficient Cleanroom and Pharmaceutical Door
The Speed-Commander 1400 SEL Clean-Master 20 Pa high-speed pharmaceutical door is highly energy-efficient with fast opening speeds of up to 80″/second and closing speeds of up to 30″/second without compromising on safety. It incorporates a coil-free built-in light grid up to eight feet high and incorporates a soft bottom edge that automatically reverses in case of accidental impact, greatly reducing maintenance costs. This pharmaceutical door’s coil-free design eliminates a possible source of contamination. In addition, the light grid eliminates the need for a panel reversing edge which is vulnerable to damage, often resulting in downtime.
High-Speed Operation and Tight Seals Limit Air Movement
Combined with its ultra-fast opening speeds, Clean-Master tightly seals door openings in cleanroom applications to prevent air movement, effectively preventing cross-contamination between two areas. Its low-profile galvanized steel guide tracks are free of moving parts to further promote a pure environment. The Clean-Master cleanroom and pharmaceutical door can be upgraded to include stainless steel guide tracks for environments that need to adhere to stringent cleanliness requirements.
SoftEdge for Enhanced Safety
The SoftEdge prevents damage and cuts down on downtime. Unlike rigid door profiles that often need major repairs after a crash, SoftEdge bends and absorbs impact, making repairs quick and easy.

Wireless Breakaway Switch for Easy Reset
The wireless breakaway switch is hidden inside the SoftEdge bottom profile. If the bottom is pushed out of the side tracks during a crash, the switch sends a signal to stop the door right away. This smart system helps protect the door and lets it run for up to 3 years without needing maintenance, no matter how often it’s used.
Safety with Built-In Light Curtain

Quick-Change Panel Design
The Speed-Commander™ 1400 SEL19 features a sectional panel design that makes replacing panels fast and easy. Each panel connects with strong aluminum profiles and slides smoothly into horizontal tracks, thanks to specially shaped edges.
For added flexibility, an optional welded panel with a spring steel profile is available. Please note: this version is not rated for 20 Pa pressure resistance.
Low-Profile Guide Tracks
The ultra-compact, heavy-duty guide tracks are engineered to fit seamlessly into tight spaces and demanding environments. With an overall width of just 7-3/8” and a projection of 4-3/8”, these low-profile tracks offer maximum durability without compromising on space. Ideal for applications where clearance is limited, they provide reliable performance and long-lasting support for high-speed or high-cycle doors.
