Root Cause Discovery

After assessing the hydraulic dock leveler, our technician discover the the leaking hose had been cut through because of a sharp edge on the dock lip.

First-Time Fix

Our technician then got to work by removing the leaking hose. Next in order to prevent the hose from getting cut again, grounded off all the sharp edges on the dock lip.

Once the issue had been removed, he then made the opening big enough to install the new hose.

After those hoses had been installed, he tested the dock to make sure that it was operating properly and the hoses weren’t rubbing together.

Once the job was completed, he went over the cause and repairs with the site contact to give them peace of mind that the hose will not leak again.
