Pharmaceutical Clean Room and Security Doors
Our Equipment Construction and Design team collaborated with EllisDon to provide Catalent with their new clean room and rolling steel service doors for their pharmaceutical facility.
Northern Dock Systems supplied and installed:
- (24) ASI GMP/FDA Compliant Fabric Clean Room Roll-Up Door (Iso-Roll Model 415)
- (2) ASI Single Sliding FRP Door (LXP Model 150)
- (5) Cornell Rolling Steel Service Doors (Model ESD)
Clean Room Fabric Roll-Up and Single Sliding Doors
Both the 415 and 150 are rated for clean room environments, making them suitable for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, supplements, neutraceuticals, medical devices, over-the-counter formulations manufacturing, and many others. Both the roll-up and single sliding doors create an air-tight seal when closed. The clean room fabric roll-up door has a “soft seal” (no bottom bar) bottom edge, allowing the curtain to mold to your floor’s contours. While the clean room single sliding FRP door uses a three-sided gray non-marking vinyl gasket and bottom sweep gasket.

Wave-to-Open Activation
These clean room doors are activated with a wave-to-open door sensor, preventing cross-contamination from opening the door. Employees never have to touch the door to open it.

Rolling Steel Service and Security Doors
The rolling steel service doors were added to provide security against entry. These rugged and durable rolling steel security doors are available in a wide variety of colors and sizes. These doors are rated to withstand 20 cycles a day, or 50,000 over their lifetime.
