Northern Dock Systems was founded in 2002 with a commitment to honest, expert service. Establishing a strong foundation for long‑term customer relationships and industry‑leading innovation.

2007 — Focused on Service

Created a dedicated Service department to achieve faster response times and more first-time fixes.

2015 — Industry Recognition

Recognized as a leading contributor to commercial energy solution programs by a major utility company.

2016 — New Mississauga Headquarters

Expanded the head office to our current headquarters at 415 Ambassador Drive, supporting growth in operations and team capacity.

2017 — Master Distributor for MacroAir

Became the official Master Distributor for MacroAir HVLS Fans in Canada, expanding national product offerings.

2018 — Innovation in Asset Management

Launched an enhanced asset management solution to streamline equipment tracking, reporting, and data-driven repair decisions.

Opened two new dispatch and warehouse locations in Calgary and Cambridge, strengthening national coverage.

2022 — Celebrated 20 Years

Marked a major milestone with our 20th anniversary, opened a new Ottawa branch, and became a Blue Giant Authorized Dealer.

2023 — Strategic Warehouse Upgrades & Awards

Relocated both Ottawa and BC branches to larger, more efficient warehouses and achieved Hörmann Doors Platinum Level Dealer status.

2024 — Energy-Efficiency Achievement

2024 Enbridge Award for Achievement in Energy Efficiency for helping 141 Ontario customers secure nearly $1.66 million in funding and generating significant environmental impact by saving 1,190,385 cubic meters of natural gas and reducing 2,299.82 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.

2025 — Recognition & Canadian Partnerships

Partnered with more Canadian-made manufacturers, earned the Service Excellence Award – Best Response Time for Home Depot, and created the Technical Sales & Service Team.

From a small, integrity‑driven startup to a national leader with multiple branches, expanded services, and a fleet of 50+ trucks. Our growth has always been rooted in strong values, exceptional people, and trusted customer relationships.

This year’s celebration is extra meaningful. As highlighted in our internal announcement, our 24th anniversary aligned with Valentine’s Day—a perfect nod to the passion and care behind everything we do. We kicked things off with a small in‑office gathering and will continue the celebration with a larger event once the weather warms up.
